Our efforts and actions, including our commitments, are based on four strategic priorities related to sustainable development. We believe that achieving these goals is deeply associated with the development of a business model that plays a critical role in creating value for our clients, society, our employees, and the environment.
We endorse that if we empower environmentally and socially aware attitudes and enable forward thinking behavior we’ll create a better future and be able to drive increased value for everyone

OTE Group of Companies in collaboration with the NGO “Choose Life” and the University of Patra’s program “KEDMOP – Give life” created the program where employees can donate bone marrow and give hope to people who need a transplant. Since the launch of the initiative, more than 627 COSMOTE employees have made a bone marrow donation.
At COSMOTE eValue, as a member of the OTE Group, we actively contribute to the recycling program based on the “Source Separation” principle in our buildings. This program is implemented in a total of 25 of our buildings nationwide, covering approximately 9,000 employees. In the past year, the OTE Group, as a whole, recycled a total of 101 tons of paper and 12 tons of packaging materials.
By adopting the recycling program at COSMOTE eValue, we contribute to the achievement of national recycling targets for packaging materials in a measurable and documented manner. We also enhance the environmental awareness of our employees.
As an integral part of the OTE Group, at Cosmote eValue, we consistently contribute to the #ZEROPLASTIC initiative with the goal of reducing single-use plastics. Specifically, our goal as the OTE Group of Companies was to eliminate plastic bags and single-use plastic cups, as well as reduce plastic bottle consumption by 50% by the end of 2019 in buildings and stores.
The initiative is implemented in 8 major buildings and the OTE Group’s store network in Greece, covering approximately 6.400 employees.
By the end of 2021, the OTE Group achieved zero usage of plastic bottles, cups, and straws, food containers, and single-use cutlery. These items were replaced with paper or biodegradable alternatives. In total, the use of more than 1.1 million single-use plastic items was avoided. The goal to eliminate plastic bags from the retail network has already been achieved since 2019, and as a result, the distribution of more than 1.4 million pieces of plastic was avoided in 2022.
On Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 20:30, the OTE Group once again encouraged its employees to participate in “Earth Hour,” sending a strong message about environmental protection and climate change.
Cosmote e-value set an example this year as well, reminding everyone that we are all collectively and individually responsible for environmental protection.
